Fry's Spring Station

2115 Jefferson Park Ave
Charlottesville VA

I had the opportunity to enjoy dinner and lunch at what was an old gas station and auto repair shop.  It has a great ambience.  The fare is Bistro style with a fire roasting oven for their Pizzas.  They have a nice wine selection, however, Virginia wines were noticeably absent.  I had the hot crab dip and amazingly there was enough flat bread to finish the crab dip with.   I also had the Penne Pasta with sausage and meatballs.  I would recommend you stick to the sausage as the meatball was just OK.

I don’t want this just to be a critique of the FSS but an opportunity to introduce them to you.  They have a great outside patio and they are interested in having functions that utilize a variety of their spaces.  They can tent their entire outside area which then can extend to the inside.  Good selection for all and the price points are great.

On Wednesdays they feature ½ price bottles of wine.  Hopefully some VA wines soon J
They do own their own microbrewery in Lynchburg called: none other than Jefferson Brewery.
